Josselin Thuilliez is currently a senior research fellow at CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique). He received his PhD in economics from Panthéon-Sorbonne University, made in collaboration with the Malaria Research and Training Center, Bamako-Mali. His primary research agenda currently focuses on development, health and population economics in Africa and Europe, understanding the impact that health policies have on health and economic outcomes. He also has an expertise in conducting longitudinal studies in Africa, comparative evaluations using experimental or quasi-experimental designs, and analysis of large-scale microeconomic data census such as Demographic and Health surveys in Africa.
